to the Newland House Museum
You are looking at the back porch of the historic
Newland House Museum, the home of William and Mary Newland and
their children.
This room is where you will begin your tour
of this historic house and where you give your $2.00 donation
for adults and $1.00 for children at the front desk.
This room is where you will also end your tour
of the house.
A docent (tour guide) will guide you around
the different rooms and relate the history of both the house
and the family who have lived here.
The house is open on Saturdays and Sundays from
12 noon to 4 pm on the 1st and 3rd weekends of the month.
The House is closed on holidays and rainy days
and the donation amounts sometimes varies with special exhibitions,
