The Huntington Beach Police Department to Host California Electric Device Safety Symposium

HUNTINGTON BEACH...The Huntington Beach Police Department will host the “From Problem to Policy: California Electric Device Safety Symposium” on Wednesday, May 13, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Senior Center in Central Park. The event brings together public safety professionals, policymakers, educators, and industry stakeholders to address the growing challenges surrounding electric devices, including e-bikes and similar mobility devices.
As electric bikes and other mobility devices continue to grow in popularity across California, so do the safety concerns, regulatory questions, and enforcement challenges that come with them.
This all-day symposium will bring together public agencies and community leaders to address current and emerging issues, including legislation, rider safety, behavioral trends, risk management, and evolving technology, while promoting collaboration and practical solutions to enhance community safety.
