HUNTINGTON BEACH...This week we'll continue to get to know the people whose signs you may have seen on your neighborhood street corners that advertises an open house for sale or even who may have sold you your dream home in Huntington Beach.

We are privileged to get to know a real powerhouse when its come to helping his clients find their prefect home. Working for the Edison Company in his early years may just account for his electrifying personality and his amazing record of return buyers over his long years in the real estate industry.

This week we will get to know Huntington Beach real estate agent Jeff Roehrick even if he does live in Old Town Seal Beach today.

Jeff is a real Southern California kid, having been born in Long Beach, California and growing up in the turbulent 60s. Jeff and his older sister enjoyed a childhood having lived in beach city that many others could only dream about.

"My sister would tease me a lot when I was a kid, but I think it helped me later in life and we're great friends today," said Jeff.

Jeff first job was delivering papers for the Belmont Shores Marina News.

He attended Wilson High School in Long Beach and after he graduated wanted to join the Marine Corps.

A family friend introduced Jeff to his future Anita and the two clicked from the start and the two were married when Jeff was 21.

Jeff worked for a short time for the Edison company before his calling as a real estate agent.

Selling real estate came naturally to Jeff, his mother and cousins were in the business.

In 2001 Jeff became a licensed agent and joined the Star Real Estate group's Bolsa Chica office. In three months Jeff made three sales. Over the years with Star, Jeff had been awarded the President's Award for several years in a row.

Jeff has been a working part of the of Star, Seven Gables offices, and today with the Compass brokerage office on 3rd Street in downtown Huntington Beach.

"I still have many return clients in an industry that is seeing less of these agent/client partnerships that we formed in the past. But I'm thankful that I still have many of my former clients as true friends today," Jeff said.

Jeff and Anita have been married for 31 years and are the proud parents of three girls, Brandy, Madison and Ashton.

The family has one pet, a 110-year-old tortoise named Charlie Brown.

Jeff loves the beach and surfing, he also loves the outdoors, that is when he can find the spare time he would be surfing, fishing, hunting or camping in the mountains.

Jeff is a man who would 100 percent to each of his buyers or sellers and they can be sure that he would represent highest ethical standards when dealing with them.
